Medical weight loss is a comprehensive and personalized approach to weight loss, combining medical supervision, nutritional guidance, and behavioral support to help individuals achieve their weight loss goals. Unlike fad diets and quick fixes, medical weight loss focuses on sustainable and healthy lifestyle changes that can lead to long-term weight loss success.
Under the guidance of a qualified medical professional, patients receive a customized weight loss plan that takes into account their unique medical history, current health status, and weight loss goals. This plan may include dietary recommendations, exercise prescriptions, and medication (including semaglutide and tirzepatide) or other medical treatments, all tailored to the individual’s specific needs.
In addition to the medical components of the program, medical weight loss also provides comprehensive support to help patients make lasting changes to their eating and exercise habits.
Overall, medical weight loss is a safe and effective way to lose weight and improve overall health. By working with a qualified medical professional and following a personalized weight loss plan, individuals can achieve their weight loss goals and maintain a healthy weight for years to come.

Why should you consider medical weight loss at Rejuvenate MKE?
The providers at Rejuvenate MKE are board certified nurse practitioners, so they have the knowledge and credentials to ensure your treatment is as safe as possible.
Our programs are comprehensive, and involve more than just medications. You’ll also be provided with diet and exercise recommendations, so you not only lose weight, but you’ll learn the strategies necessary to keep the weight off. Losing weight is easy…keeping it off is the hard part! We want you to maintain your success, even once your treatment with us is complete.
What should you expect at your initial visit?
Your provider will review your health history, including your medical and surgical history, and family history. We’ll also discuss what weight loss strategies you’ve tried in the past, what has worked, and what hasn’t.
Additionally, we’ll perform a physical assessment and take your vital signs. If you are interested in a stimulant medication, we will perform an electrocardiogram (ECG), to ensure you do not have cardiac abnormalities that could make treatment unsafe. Your weight and measurements will be taken so we can evaluate and track your progress over time.
Prior to initiation of treatment, you will need some baseline labs. We can collect these in our office, or we can provide you with a lab requisition and you can take them to the lab of your choice, if you would like to utilize your insurance.
If I’m found to be a good candidate for treatment, what’s next?
If you’re found to be a good candidate for medical weight loss, you and your provider will discuss which medication will be right for you. You’ll be taught how to take the medication; for example, if you are started on semaglutide or tirzepatide, you’ll be taught how to self-administer the injections. We will also set you up with diet and exercise tools you can use at home.
Your medication will be shipped directly to your home, and you will administer the medications as directed (for semaglutide and tirzepatide, these are once weekly injections). Current shipping and processing times is about 2 weeks, and you will need to contact your provider when you need a refill of your medication. Please ensure you contact your provider when you have two weeks left of your medication to ensure you receive your refill in a timely manner and there are no lapses in your treatment.
What is the cost of treatment?
Cost depends on the type of treatment you are interested in. You will be enrolled in a monthly membership plan, which includes the consultation and assessment, medication, supplies, and nutrition and exercise recommendations. Follow-up visits are included in this membership. Labs are not included as part of your membership plan, as you may elect to utilize insurance for this. If you wish to end your membership, you must submit your request in writing via your patient portal within 30 days of your next billing cycle.
The cost of the initial comprehensive lab panel, if you choose to have them obtained through our clinic, is $165. Follow-up labs are $100. Results are available approximately 48 hours after collection.
The cost of the most requested treatments are as follows:
- Semaglutide: $400 per month for doses up to 1.7 mg weekly. If higher doses are required, up to the maximum dose of 2.5 mg weekly, the cost is $475 per month.

- Phentermine: $150 per month
Prices are subject to change based on the cost of medication and supplies. We will notify you if prices change.
Does my membership entitle me to any other benefits?

Do you take insurance?
Rejuvenate MKE does not take insurance. We apologize for the inconvenience this may cause.
Rejuvenate MKE does accept FSA and HSA cards as a form of payment. If requested, we can provide an invoice if documentation is requested from your FSA/HSA company. However, Rejuvenate MKE does not accept responsibility if your submission/claim is denied.
You may opt to have your labs drawn at the lab of your choice, if you would like to use your insurance for this part of the process. However, we do not consult your insurance company to determine what, if any labs, will be covered by your plan. While the labs we request are fairly standard, Rejuvenate MKE is not responsible for any out-of-pocket costs incurred by your insurance company.
